Hello. Thanks for visiting my site.

I am a British Indian female, hence the title, now living in Birmingham. Not sure if this is typical anymore, but I have done pretty much what most of my friends and family have done, in that I went to university, got a job, and then got married to an indian guy. Along the way, my journey has had ups, a few hurdles and lots of learnings. This site is my way of sharing my journey and just maybe something relatable.

I wrote the above a couple of years ago, to add I am now a mum, so have continued the course that most take. I say most, by most I mean my friends and family my age or older.

I began to write this with the intention to shed some light on what it means to be a British Indian and how being both comes together and how sometimes not. Inevitably there will be baby stuff too, my pregnancy to being new mum, which everyday is so rewarding but by far the hardest thing I have ever done.  I really am winging motherhood.
